Rec Area

For those wishing to reserve the neighborhood recreation area please send your request through the contact us page.  Please observe the following rules for rec area use.
 
Recreational Area Rules:
 
  • Recreational Area use is for Breezy Point Estates Home Owner Association Members and guests only.
  • The BPEHOA lot owner that is using the rec area is responsible for their guests behavior.  If any damage is done to the rec area by you or your guests you will be billed for the repairs.
  • No cars/trucks/go-carts/motorcycles/ATV's etc are permitted on the rec area grounds at any time. Please use the provided foot ramp and walkway to transport materials to the pavilion.
  • Please respect the residents who live adjacent to the rec area by not parking on or in front of their driveways or on their property unless you have their permission.
  • Schedule private events to end at a reasonable hour. If in doubt - ask.
  • Use hours are from 8am - 11pm with quiet time starting at 10pm
  • Bonfires must be in the firepit and monitored by a responsible adult BPE lot owner and the fire department must be called prior to building the fire to determine the day’s fire risk. If fire risk is high no fires are allowed at the rec area.
  • If wind is gusty or high, fires are not allowed in rec area.
  • Do not leave trash (dead trees, rotten wood, etc) in the firepit or anywhere else in the rec area.
  • If you use the rec area, make sure the rec area and pavilion are cleaned up when you are done ie. picnic tables under the pavilion, trash picked up and must be taken with you.
  • Those residents that walk their animals/pets at the rec area, make sure you cleanup after them.
  • If you have a bonfire or grill fire, make sure fires are extinguished (not smoking) before you leave. As a courtesy to residents reserving the rec area for private events, other residents are asked to refrain from walking pets in the rec area during private events.
  • If in doubt whether an event is reserved or not, check the online calendar.
  • The laws of the State of Maryland and Calvert County apply
